Williams & Associates, now W&A Engineering, was founded by Jon Williams nearly two decades ago, with the idea of establishing an all-encompassing land planning and design firm in Northeast Georgia to serve its growing communities. Since then, the company has grown into a multi-disciplined, national engineering firm with completed projects in more than 45 of the United States and acting as the on-call civil engineers and consultants for economic development in more than 35 Georgia communities. The firm’s five main departments include Civil Engineering, Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Traffic Engineering and Economic Development, plus Soil and Environmental Consulting. Because of the company’s growth over the years and the importance of his current team, Williams decided, as of November 1, 2017, to rename the company to W&A Engineering to be more in line with the size and growth objectives of the company and to better reflect its mission:
